The Renovation

The Linhay was the old hayloft building on our family arable farm and many years ago it would have been used to house livestock and hay storage.

In 2023, we began the renovation of the building into 5 individual holiday lets known collectively as The Linhay (which is another term for a hayloft). We focused on renovating the lets to preserve the unique charms found within the building and the project was completed in early 2024.

Each holiday let is named after a habitat of an animal that you can find on our farm and has their own unique style and design.

- The Hollow: Barn Owl

- The Spinney: Deer (we have three types of deer that can be seen on our farm: Roe, Chinese and Muntjac)

- The Burrow: Hares and Rabbits

- The Den: Fox

- The Nide: Pheasant. (This is a dog friendly property).

Each holiday let is available for booking individually or as a group booking. Please do contact us via our Contact Us page if you would like to enquire about a group booking. The Nide is our only dog friendly property and more information can be found on our Terms and Conditions page regarding booking your pet in.

Our Farm

The Linhay sits nestled on our family run arable farm where a range of crops are grown in a regenerative system. This means they are grown in a sustainable way with as little intervention to the soil and nature as possible while we constantly work to improve the natural ecosystem of the farm.

The farm is interspersed with ancient woodlands and environmental stewardship which is host to 8 red list species birds and 5 amber list including starlings, skylarks and linnets.

The occasional animal can also be found such as chickens, a farm cat and a few dogs, alongside pheasants, partridges and deer.
